With passionate exploration, artist Erin Lavigne, penetrates the world of modern art with organic fervor.  Growing up with a pencil in hand, Erin cultivated her craft through  works spanning from realism to abstract and contemporary genres.

 

Working with both acrylic and oil mediums, her painting style has progressed through the years from clean refined styling to dramatic shading with eloquent depth. Erin’s sketching style has been uniquely refined from time spent studying Automotive and Industrial Design at the College for Creative Studies. 

 

Currently a footwear designer in New York, Erin is consistently unearthing new ways to expand her creativity at home in Brooklyn. Most recently showcasing her Mirage Series collection of oil paintings as an Artprize 10 exhibitor, she is currently exploring and continuing to develop this technique. Her mission is to capture and draw audiences in through reflection, color and simplistic beauty.
